They have knowledge of the needs of children who require language acquisition and support strategies/resources. The ESL/ELL teacher is flexible, knowledgeable, and able to navigate the legal and procedural aspects associated with the position. fosters an inclusive environment for students of all abilities and develops a respectful and compassionate community of learners.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in ESL/ELL with a valid NC license.

Duties:

Establishes inclusive learning environments in collaboration with grade-level teachers, and EC teachers; screens, designs, implements services, monitors progress, uses best practices and innovative techniques, keeps up to date with advancement in the field and supports the experiential and project-based learning across content areas aligned with state standards.
