Teachers will plan, prepare, and implement lessons, as well as work with the academic team to optimize students' Chinese learning experience. Responsibilities Teach 2 hours of adult class on Sundays (15 in a semester, 30 in a school year). Plan and prepare for lessons with care and thoughtfulness. Attend school punctually and reliably. Participate and support students in school-wide events (Chinese New Year performances, Speech Event, and Open House). Communicate regularly with students about course content, class expectations, and any issues that might be affecting students' learning. Communicate effectively with the administrative team and respond to emails or calls promptly. Attend faculty meetings, professional development, and collaborative discussions. Qualifications Advanced or professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese. Good working proficiency in English. Interest and comfort in working with young learners of different levels. Prior experience working with students in a classroom setting is highly desirable but not required. A commitment to create an engaging, enjoyable process for learning Chinese language and culture.
