Job Description

Summary Cinnaminson Middle School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop their language skills and cultural understanding while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. This full-time position requires a commitment to academic excellence and a collaborative approach to teaching. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging Spanish language curriculum for middle school students. Create lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents. Foster a classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning. Integrate technology and multimedia resources into lessons to enhance language acquisition. Collaborate with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary learning and school initiatives. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language education. Organize and lead extracurricular activities related to the Spanish language and culture. Maintain classroom management and discipline in accordance with school policies. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Valid teaching certification in the state of New Jersey for French language instruction. Strong proficiency in Spanish, both spoken and written. Previous teaching experience at the middle school level preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Familiarity with current educational technology and teaching methodologies. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
