General Description Assume the responsibilities for instructional team of the Workplace Readiness training program. Reports to the Director. Off-campus work within Union County may be required. Course content includes (not responsible for all topic areas): Interpersonal Skills Communications Workplace Readiness Teamwork Customer Service Problem Solving Critical Thinking Time Management Computer Basics Training (Intro to Google docs, MS Office suite) Online Resources to prepare for a Job Job Search, Resume Writing, and Interview Insights Not required to teach all content as multiple instructors collaborate in program. Characteristics, Duties, and Responsibilities Responsible for classroom instruction. Maintain daily attendance. Ability to teach remote-live if required Other related duties. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in related field required or an equivalent combination of education, industry certification and/or experience to demonstrate core competencies. 3 - 5 years relevant instructional experience. Experience See Competencies and Skills Required Competencies and Skills Required Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Ability to multi-task in a busy environment. Use of remote-live platform for instruction Flexibility of schedule. Working with a diverse population Physical Demands and Work Environment This position's duties are normally performed in a typical interior/residence work environment, based on the activity scheduled. Some physical effort required; however, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. No or very limited exposure to physical risk. Some travel required.
