The Cumberland County Charter School Network is comprised of three separate public charter schools - all of which are growing! The mission of the Cumberland County Charter School Network is to provide a nurturing, supportive, creative and actively engaging environment for students and families that facilitates the development of well educated and responsible young adults with a lifelong love of learning. We are looking for a Part-Time World Language Teacher to join our team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate with appropriate endorsement(s) Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities Ability to maintain a positive, productive learning environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

EDUCATION

Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of content as well as educational pedagogy. Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans. Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students. Ability to use computer network system and software applications as needed. Ability to organize and coordinate work. High-Quality Student Work Elevate student voice and leadership in classrooms and across the school. Use multiple methods of problem-solving, lab experiments, and student collaboration to engage students in the production of exceptional quality work. Connect students to the world beyond school through meaningful fieldwork,expert collaborators, research, and service learning. Evidence of merit in the areas of curriculum/instruction,assessment/accountability, social curriculum/school culture, collaboration,collegiality, and professionalism, professional learning, parent communication,and involvement as well as other professional duties is required.
