Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic PCA Training Class Instructor fluent in English or Spanish to lead our caregiver training programs. We are seeking a PCA Training Class Instructor to teach and prepare students for a rewarding career as a Personal Care Aide. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, communicates effectively in English or Spanish , and can provide a supportive and engaging learning environment for adult students. Duties Teach PCA training classes in accordance with required curriculum and guidelines. Present lessons clearly in English or Spanish as needed. Provide hands-on instruction and practical demonstrations. Prepare students for employment as Personal Care Aides. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate attendance and training records. Create a positive, respectful, and professional classroom environment. Adapt teaching methods to meet different learning needs. Qualifications Minimum qualifications include 2 years' experience as a Registered Professional Nurse, 1 year of which is in the provision of Home Care Services. For bi-lingual instructors, documentation that the instructor is bi-lingual and fluent in the language in which instruction is given. Documentation of fluency must include 2 written references, one of which may be from the sponsoring organization, and one of which may be proof of graduation (such as diploma) where the targeted foreign language is spoken.
