This contract opportunity is tailored for a talented General Education Teacher with expertise in Spanish instruction. What you'll bring: Certification and experience as a General Education Teacher Proficiency in Spanish, with the ability to teach 7th and 8th grade students Strong classroom management and communication skills Flexibility to deliver engaging lessons and adapt to varying student needs A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment Dedication to student growth and enthusiasm for sharing cultural knowledge In this role, your teaching day will include: Leading two dynamic Spanish classes per day for Grade 7 and for 8th grade Spanish 1 (a high school credit course) Creating lesson plans that engage, challenge, and inspire students Evaluating student progress through assignments, projects, and assessments Providing timely feedback and extra help where needed Encouraging cultural awareness and language proficiency in every lesson Collaborating with staff and administration as needed The opportunity for scheduling flexibility, ideally covering the last two periods of the day (1:11-2:33 PM), but with some room for adjustment If you're enthusiastic about empowering middle school students to embrace a new language and culture, this could be the perfect contract role for you.
