Duties:

The Mohawk Regional Information Center (MORIC) is seeking an online learning instructor in the following New York State certification area: French, grades 7 through 12 Each instructor will deliver daily synchronous and/or asynchronous online instruction to students enrolled in our virtual learning and tutoring services during regular school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing consistent, high-quality online instruction in virtual environments. Building strong relationships with students, caregivers, and home school districts. Demonstrating excellent communication, organizational, and progress monitoring skills. The MORIC offers school districts a range of online courses taught by New York State certified teachers. These courses provide individualized learning opportunities for students who are unable to participate in a traditional, in-person setting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in an education-related field and the appropriate New York State teaching certification are required. Experience teaching in an online or virtual environment is preferred.
