Swim Teachers are responsible for teaching swimming skills to individuals of all ages and abilities in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop coaching and teaching skills while promoting water safety and confidence among participants. Candidates should have a passion for working with children, with a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning experience. Responsibilities Deliver structured swimming lessons tailored to the needs of individual students, from beginner baby swim to advanced adults. Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to strict water safety protocols and emergency procedures. Provide clear instructions and constructive feedback to help students improve their technique and confidence in the water. Provides consistency for students by having excellent attendance. Maintain a clean and organised pool environment, ensuring all equipment is used safely and correctly. Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages skill development, water safety awareness, and enjoyment of swimming.. Monitor student progress and communicate achievements or concerns to supervisors or parents as appropriate. Experience Spanish Fluency Required Swim experience is preferred, but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage learners of all ages. Certification in lifeguarding or first aid is desirable but not essential; training can be provided for suitable candidates. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about swimming, education, and fostering confidence in others through sport.
