In this role, you'll bring the Spanish language to life through immersive learning experiences, meaningful conversations, cultural exploration, and real-world applications . You'll support students with diverse learning styles while fostering confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong appreciation for language learning. What You'll Do Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned Spanish language instruction Create dynamic opportunities for speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish Foster understanding and appreciation of Spanish-speaking cultures and global perspectives Assess student progress through projects, presentations, conversations, quizzes, and assignments Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student growth and language development Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and proficiency levels Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and interdisciplinary learning opportunities Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events Support or advise student organizations, cultural activities, or extracurricular programs (preferred) What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Foreign Language Education, World Languages, Education, or a related field Valid PA Spanish Certification ( or ability to obtain ) Strong proficiency in Spanish language skills and cultural competency High school teaching experience preferred Excellent classroom management and communication skills Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment Experience with communicative, inquiry-based, or project-based learning Ability to effectively integrate technology into instruction Passion for helping students become confident global communicators and lifelong learners Physical Requirements Ability to perform standard classroom duties (standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching) Ability to support students with diverse physical and emotional needs
Compensation & Benefits Starting Salary:
