Play. Inspire. Looking for a rewarding way to wrap up your summer? Spanish Exploradores is hiring part-time Spanish Camp Teachers for two weeks of summer camp in August . This is a great opportunity for educators, bilingual professionals, and college students who enjoy working with children and want a short-term position before the school year begins. You'll spend your days leading games, crafts, songs, movement activities, and hands-on projects—all in Spanish. Best of all, our curriculum, lesson plans, and materials are fully prepared , so you can focus on connecting with campers and making learning fun. Outstanding teachers may be offered additional opportunities to teach preschool or elementary Spanish enrichment programs during the 2026-2027 school year. About Spanish Exploradores Spanish Exploradores is a local, award-winning enrichment company that brings Spanish to life through immersive, activity-based learning. Rather than relying on worksheets or memorization, our campers learn through movement, storytelling, games, crafts, music, and imaginative play. We believe children learn best when they're actively engaged—and when teachers are having fun too. Position Overview As a Spanish Summer Camp Teacher, you'll lead small groups of children in exciting Spanish activities while helping create a positive, encouraging camp environment. No lesson planning required. We provide the curriculum, daily lesson plans, supplies, and activity materials so you can focus on teaching and interacting with campers. Responsibilities Lead engaging Spanish activities for children ages 4-13 Facilitate games, songs, crafts, STEM projects, stories, and movement activities Encourage children to communicate and participate in Spanish Create a safe, positive, and welcoming classroom environment Support campers socially and emotionally throughout the day Work collaboratively with fellow camp staff Follow the provided curriculum and daily lesson plans Schedule Seasonal Part-Time Position Camp Dates August 17-21, 2026 August 24-28, 2026 Hours Monday-Friday 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Applicants should be available for both camp weeks whenever possible. Compensation $30 per hour Curriculum and teaching materials provided Opportunity for continued employment during the school year Qualifications We're looking for someone who: Is fluent in both Spanish and English Enjoys working with children ages 4-13 Has experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, leading camps, or working with youth Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and positive energy to every day Can confidently lead activities and manage groups of children Is dependable, organized, and punctual Works well independently and as part of a team Can lift and carry up to 25 pounds of classroom materials Native Spanish speakers and candidates with experience living or studying in Spanish-speaking countries are encouraged to apply.
