An exciting opportunity is open for an Educational Support System Teacher, available either fully remote or in-person, at a school near Chandler, AZ. This full-time contract position starts as soon as possible and runs through May 2023, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact with a committed group of students in grades 6-12. This role provides a flexible work arrangement and the unique opportunity to support 15-20 students with a range of educational needs.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Arizona state certification in Special Education Experience as a Special Education Teacher, ESL Teacher, or Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) highly desired Deep knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and review processes Effective communicator and collaborator with parents, school staff, and fellow educators Comfortable managing a caseload of 15-20 students

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver Specifically Designed Instruction tailored to meet individual IEP goals Monitor student progress and regularly collect data aligned with IEP objectives Participate in IEP meetings, which may require occasional early arrival or late stays beyond standard hours (7:45 a.m.3:05 p.m.) Work collaboratively with support staff to ensure each student achieves their highest potential
