Specialty and subspecialty, if any, sought Master's" degree in Spanish, Hispanic Studies, Spanish Linguistics, or a closely related field. At lleast 18 graduate credit hours in Spanish. Professional fluency in Spanish and English. Teaching experience at the postsecondary level, particularly in beginning Spanish language courses. Courses to be covered In-person introductory-level Spanish language courses:
SPAN 101, SPAN 102, SPAN 190, SPAN 200, SPAN 201, SPAN 202.
Position Description Adjunct Lecturer of Spanish to teach in-person introductory-level Spanish language courses (e.g., SPAN 101 through
SPAN 202
) on our historic downtown Charleston campus. This is a part-time, non-tenure track faculty position for the Fall semester, with the possibility of renewal based on departmental needs and performance. We are seeking dynamic and student-focused educators committed to fostering basic Spanish language acquisition and cultural competence through communicative and inclusive teaching practices.
