This contract opportunity is tailored for credentialed educators ready to work closely with classroom teachers, fostering language growth for students in grades 3-5. Step into a collaborative environment where your expertise will reach both the whole class and students needing targeted assistance.
Responsibilities:
Co-teach with general education teachers to support English language learners in a dynamic classroom setting. Deliver small-group and individualized instruction, targeting specific language development needs. Use your knowledge of ELPA21 and
TN PULSE
to monitor student progress and inform instruction. Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive classroom culture for multicultural learners. Collaborate with fellow educators to plan lessons and share strategies for student success.
Qualifications:
Valid TN ESL Certification required. Experience with ELPA21 and
TN PULSE
assessment tools preferred. Previous work in elementary education, ideally with grades 3-5. Strong collaboration skills and a knack for working as part of a diverse instructional team. Commitment to meeting the needs of English language learners in a supportive, creative way. Enjoy a fulfilling assignment with a 32.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, supporting students both in the classroom and in more focused settings. Contracts begin as soon as possible, offering a pay range of $35-40 per hour, delivered through weekly pay.
