1 week out of month Must-Have Qualifications (Please read before applying) To be considered, you must have: Spanish major or minor (or equivalent advanced coursework) Formal teaching or tutoring experience in Spanish Strong mastery of Spanish grammar through AP Spanish and Conversational Spanish Reliable transportation for in-person tutoring About the Role DFWPMA, motivated Spanish Tutors to join our growing academic team. Our tutors work one-on-one with students to build confidence, improve academic performance, and master advanced Spanish concepts. We employ college students, graduate students, PhD candidates, certified teachers, and experienced educators who are passionate about student success. This is an in-person position working with motivated students in the Houston area. Responsibilities Tutor students in Spanish I through AP Spanish and Conversational Spanish for a variety of ages. Build customized lesson plans based on student needs Improve student confidence, grades, and test performance Communicate progress with Kscholastic staff and families Teach complex grammar topics, including Preterite vs. Imperfect, Subjunctive mood, Verb tenses and sentence structure.Required Skills & Experience Required:
Spanish major or minor Prior experience teaching or tutoring Spanish Strong formal understanding of Spanish grammar Excellent communication skills Reliable transportation and punctualityPreferred:
Classroom teaching experience AP Spanish teaching or exam preparation experienceNote:
