Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Full Time Spanish Immersion Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will deliver engaging, immersive Spanish language instruction to young learners, supporting their early childhood development through innovative teaching methods. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire children to explore language, culture, and learning in a nurturing classroom setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote Spanish language acquisition and cultural awareness. Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages active participation, curiosity, and joy in learning. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive, respectful atmosphere conducive to learning. Adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of children, including those requiring special education or early intervention support. Incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and other subjects into the Spanish immersion program to foster well-rounded development. Monitor and assess student progress through observations and standardized testing; adjust instruction accordingly. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child's social-emotional well-being and overall growth. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; preschool or daycare experience preferred. Strong background in early childhood education, childhood development, and classroom management techniques. Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education strategies. Experience with special education needs, behavior management, and early intervention programs. Familiarity with Montessori or other educational philosophies is a plus. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively. Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports child welfare and promotes positive behavior. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required; prior experience teaching in Spanish immersion programs is highly desirable.
