About Wilkinson Center At Wilkinson Center, we help Dallas families build better futures by providing education, workforce training, and supportive services that open the door to long-term stability. We support individuals in reaching self-sufficiency with dignity, respect, and encouragement, while helping them overcome barriers such as language, employment challenges, and access to resources. The Role As an ESL Instructor, you'll teach adult learners in classes held in person, online, or in a hybrid format — helping students build confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and listening so they can use English effectively in everyday life, work, and school. This is a bilingual teaching position; English/Spanish preferred. Schedule and Benefits Full-time or part-time positions available based on class assignments; may include evenings or weekends Various locations in Dallas County Pay starts at $28 for part-time and $50,000 for full-time PTO and a 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision available for full-time What You'll Do Plan and deliver engaging ESL instruction in speaking, reading, writing, and listening using varied teaching methods and technology Prepare weekly, standards-aligned lesson plans Support student outcomes, including measurable gains on ESL progress tests (CASAS) Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom — in person, virtual, or hybrid — that promotes student success Maintain accurate attendance and progress records using program tracking systems, and partner with Case Managers to support retention Participate in required meetings and complete ongoing professional development What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (required) At least 1 year of experience teaching adults, in a classroom or virtual setting (preferred) Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred Strong communication and classroom management skills Comfort using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and other digital learning tools A genuine commitment to student success, equity, and inclusion If you're passionate about language education and helping others build a path to self-sufficiency, we'd love to hear from you.

From $50,000.00 per year
