General Description Corporate Training position : One daytime position available on the WCJC Bay City campus. Pay rate for this position is $60.00/hr. Open Enrollment position : One evening position available on the WCJC Richmond campus. Pay rate for this position is $30.00/hr. The responsibility of the Part Time Continuing Education Instructor - English as a Second Language (ESL) is to create and deliver effective lessons in order for students to acquire skills in conversational English. The responsibility of a Continuing Education (CE) Instructor is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The CE Instructor works to ensure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of all students. CE Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity, contingent upon the needs of the department. Classes are offered during daytime, evenings, and weekends as well as some College holidays. Classes are offered at various times and locations during the academic year as well as at various campuses and offsite locations. Requirements This position requires a Bachelor's Degree and 36 months of work experience teaching ESL courses to adults. A criminal background check is required.
