Spanish Speaking Artist/Art Instructor Art First Arte Primero Salt Lake City, UT Job Details Part-time | Contract $15 - $17 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Experience teaching visual & performing arts Spanish Stitching Driver's License Paints Performing background checks Full Job Description Spanish Speaking Artist / Art Instructor Seeking a talented, dependable artist who speaks Spanish and enjoys inspiring children, teens, and adults through creativity. We are hiring for three areas. Applicants may be considered for one or more based on experience and availability: 1. After School Art Instructor Monday-Friday, 2:00-5:30 Pm Teach art and provide Spanish language enrichment Supervise children and assist with daily activities Drive a 15 passenger van for school pickup and field trips 2. Special Events and Mural Artist Assist with murals, live painting, paint parties, community events, and team building experiences Strong painting skills are required Afternoon, evening, and weekend opportunities are available 3. Daytime and Evening Art Instructor Teach private and group classes for children or adults All artistic specialties are welcome, including drawing, painting, watercolor, acrylics, mixed media, clay, sewing, crafts, animation, and more Qualifications Must speak Spanish and have strong artistic skills Reliable, punctual, energetic, and professional Comfortable teaching and speaking in front of groups Experience working with children is preferred Must be able to pass a background check A valid driver's license and safe driving record are required for the after school position This is a part time contract position with flexible and project based opportunities. Pay is based on experience. We are willing to train the right artist.
