Position Full-Time Spanish Teacher Closing Date Open until filled Salary Commensurate with experience Position Summary The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about teaching Spanish while serving as a positive role model and supporting the mission of Catholic education. The ideal candidate will foster a love of learning, create a welcoming classroom environment, and inspire students to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.
Responsibilities The successful candidate will:
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Spanish lessons that inspire a love of language and learning. Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment where students feel encouraged to participate and succeed. Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback to students and families. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Encourage and motivate students by recognizing their achievements and supporting them through challenges. Maintain effective classroom management while fostering respect, responsibility, and Christian values. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents to support student success. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities. Contribute to the life of the school beyond the classroom through extracurricular activities, committees, or other assigned responsibilities. Qualifications Virginia State teaching certification (or eligibility for certification) in Spanish. Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to integrate Catholic values into the educational environment. Commitment to the mission and philosophy of Catholic education.
