Part-Time French Teacher - Immediate Start! Woodstock Union Middle/High School is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Part-Time French Long-term Substitute to join our highly engaged World Languages department! This is an exciting opportunity to begin immediately and teach a comprehensive 7-12 curriculum, spanning all ability levels from novice to advanced. Focus on Proficiency and Collaboration We are looking for a colleague eager to continue our practice of creating engaging, inviting, and lively lessons . The successful candidate will be deeply familiar with and committed to: Proficiency-Based Instruction and Grading. Creating standards-based units tied to the ACTFL World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages. Developing and maintaining a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment. Furthermore, the ideal candidate is enthusiastic about contributing to our thriving international exchange and travel programs. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will: Hold or be eligible to hold a Vermont Educator License with an appropriate World Language endorsement. Demonstrate a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education. Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
