A Biology Professor teaches foundational biology ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction, lab experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the biology curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field.

College of the Sequoias Community College District is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach within its Biology/Science Department.
Related courses include:
Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Geology, Physical Sciences, Physics, etc. Adjunct faculty assignments may include weekend and/or evening classes at the Visalia Campus, the Hanford Educational Center, or the Tulare College Center. Adjunct faculty applications which meet the required minimum qualifications are kept on file for one year from the date the application is received. Adjunct faculty positions are temporary positions and do not accrue rights to tenure.
