• Perform professional head spa treatments, including scalp cleansing, massage, relaxation techniques, and other services included within the head spa menu.
• Perform customized facials based on each client's skin type, concerns, and individual goals.
• Conduct thorough client consultations to understand skincare and wellness needs and recommend appropriate services and products.
• Provide exceptional customer service while creating a relaxing, welcoming, and luxurious experience for every client.
• Educate clients on proper skincare routines, product use, and recommended treatments.
• Recommend and retail professional skincare products when appropriate to support clients' skincare goals.
• Maintain strict sanitation and hygiene standards, including proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of tools and treatment areas.
• Prepare treatment rooms before each appointment and thoroughly clean and reset the space between clients.
• Manage appointments using MINDBODY, including checking appointment details and assisting with scheduling future services.
• Assist with front desk responsibilities as needed, including greeting clients, checking clients in and out, answering questions, and processing payments.
• Communicate professionally with team members and contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented environment.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of facial treatments, skincare products, head spa techniques, and wellness services. Qualifications
• Valid California cosmetology license or other applicable license/certification required to perform the services offered.
• Experience performing facials, skincare services, scalp treatments, or head spa services preferred.
• Strong knowledge of skincare, skin types, sanitation, and professional treatment practices.
• Passion for wellness, skincare, beauty, and helping clients feel their best.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to create genuine connections with clients.
• Professional, dependable, friendly, and comfortable working in a client-focused environment.
• Ability to recommend products and services based on the client's individual needs without being overly sales-focused.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and relaxing treatment environment.
