(Anatomy & Physiology II)class will cover the definitions and scope of major topics in Human Anatomy & Physiology, including but not limited to: the endocrine system, blood/hematocrit, the heart, heart anatomy, blood vessels, the cardiovascular system (blood vessels and hemodynamics), the respiratory system, the renal system, the gastrointestinal tract, metabolism, and reproduction. The chosen candidate for either or both classes should demonstrate a robust plan for implementing innovative laboratory experiences and incorporating high-impact engagement in the classroom. This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required for this position. The University reserves the right to amend and change responsibilities to meet organizational needs. Minimum Qualifications Education Master's Degree or higher with at least 15 graduate credits in Biology, Applied Biology, Human Anatomy & Physiology, or related fields with specialization in Physiology. Completion of 30 hrs in an accredited doctoral program is acceptable. Doctoral Degree in Anatomy and Physiology, Biology with emphasis on Anatomy and Physiology, or Doctoral Degree in Nursing or Nursing Practitioner, or closely related field is preferred. Experience Teaching experience at the college level in the area of concentration strongly preferred. Experience with traditional and non-traditional students from diverse backgrounds. Experience in teaching online and/or using course management programs. Experience in course development and assessment, planning, quality and accreditation processes preferred.
