Job Description
Cottey College, a private liberal arts and sciences college for women, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in biology, starting August 2027. We seek candidates to teach an introductory course in cellular and molecular biology and Anatomy & Physiology. This position supports students majoring in Biology, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, or Exercise & Sports Science. Cottey is a teaching focused institution with a well-equipped teaching laboratory and facilities. Competitive internal funding opportunities are available for faculty professional development, summer research grants, and students doing work with leadership elements. Research is not required, but encouraged. The successful candidate will have a record of effective teaching and have doctoral degree in biology, or a closely related discipline, in hand by the start of the contract.
