Position SummaryThe UNM-Valencia Campus is seeking candidates for temporary,
part-time faculty to teach 1000-2000 Level Biology Courses. This will be
a continuous recruitment starting in the spring 2027 semester. The posting
will remain open, and applicants will be selected as needed per semester. Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia
County, The University of Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch
campus of The University of Mexico which functions as a community college
in the region and is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an
emphasis on teaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer
programs, technical programs, Adult Education, and Dual Credit courses to high
schools in Valencia and Socorro Counties. The faculty and staff serve a
student body of over 2,000 students per semester. For best consideration please apply by end-of-day by these dates:

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Biology, or
Master's degree in related field and 18 graduate credit hours in Biology.
One year experience teaching at a
post-secondary institution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD, ABD, or EdD in Biology or
- related field.
- Experience and/or certification
- to teach online.
- Demonstrated excellence in
- teaching at a post-secondary institution.
- A demonstrated commitment to
- cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of Mexico
- and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global
