Allentown, PA Job Details Part-time 23 hours ago Qualifications Laboratory safety Online learning environment experience E-learning platforms Online instruction Canvas LMS software Full Job Description Position Description The Department of Biological Sciences at Cedar Crest College is seeking adjunct faculty to teach Anatomy & Physiology I&II laboratories (all taught on campus, in person) in the spring of 2027, with a potential for future appointments in summer and fall. Adjuncts for this course are provided in person and online teaching materials, along with laboratory material set up by a lab coordinator to ensure consistency across lab sections. Candidates must be available to teach labs at times that may include 8-11AM, 1-4PM, 4-7PM, and/or 7-10PM. We also seek to establish an adjunct pool that could teach in future spring, summer, and fall semesters with expertise that could cover Clinical Microbiology labs for nursing students, Introductory Biology labs for science majors, and General Biology courses for non-majors, and encourage anyone interested in teaching these courses to apply. Qualifications Adjunct faculty should have a minimum of a Master's degree or higher in Anatomy, Anatomical Sciences, Biology or Biological field, Kinesiology, Medicine, Nursing, Physician Associate Studies, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or a closely related field. Demonstrated experience teaching at the undergraduate college level is strongly preferred. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate competency in using Canvas as a learning management system and guide students to complete experiments safely in the laboratory setting.
