Accordingly , if you will now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status this moratorium may affect our ability to employ you should you be selected as the final candidate . ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Prairie View A&M University, a member of The Texas A&M University System, invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Plant and Soil Sciences. This is a nine-month tenure-track position that reports to the Associate Dean for Academic Programs in the College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources (CAFNR). The successful candidate will be expected to establish an innovative, externally funded research program in plant and soil sciences that addresses critical challenges affecting agricultural productivity, environmental resilience, and food security in Texas and beyond. Preference will be given to candidates whose work complements existing strengths in the plant, soil, and environmental sciences, as well as the natural resources research areas within the College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources. The salary is determined in accordance with the University's compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates' education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.
