Job Description
The School of Business at Central Connecticut State University seeks to establish a pool of qualified applicants for part-time appointments as adjunct faculty. Courses are taught on campus or in a hybrid format and are offered both days and evenings. The number of available positions varies by semester and depends upon the needs of the school. Appointments are for one semester, and may be renewable based on need, funding, and performance. Required qualifications for all adjunct faculty (additional qualifications may be required in specific academic disciplines): Master's degree or higher in business (e.g., Management, Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Information Systems) or a related field Professional experience that is current and substantial in terms of duration and level of responsibility Commitment to serving culturally, ethnically and linguistically diverse communities Preferred qualifications for all adjunct faculty (additional qualifications may be preferred in specific academic disciplines): Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning Evidence of quality teaching experience In addition to practitioners, we welcome applications from academics with a terminal degree and record of research in the field.
