Part-Time Lecturer - MPS Insurance, Analytics and Management About the Opportunity About the
Opportunity:
Looking for a qualified candidate who would teach on-ground, hybrid, and online graduate-level courses in Insurance, Analytics and Management. This position is located at the Northeastern University Boston Campus.
Responsibilities:
Instructional areas included, but are not limited to, analytics/AI (e.g., probability and statistics, data exploration, data visualization, and predictive analytics, ML), and insurance specific topics like underwriting, claim management, finance, reinsurance, etc. The mission of the Master of Professional Studies in Insurance, Analytics and Management is to prepare professionals working in the insurance industry, and other related industries, for success as insurance professionals at the intersection of technology, application, digital leadership and decision support. This degree prepares students for entry-- and mid--level roles in the Insurance industry and prepares graduates to enter or advance within the following types of professional roles: Claims Management, Insurance Finance, Underwriting, Product Pricing and Distribution, Technology and Analysis, and International Insurance. The degree is deeply rooted in experiential learning that is closely linked to professional applications in the work force.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualification: Masters in an aligned discipline and/or analytics-industry experience. Preference for candidates with a PhD in a sciences field, or similar. Demonstration of teaching, coaching, and/or training is required, with a history of successful teaching (online/on ground) at the graduate level is strongly preferred.
