Provide in person classroom instruction in Medical Coding and/or Health Information Management to students seeking certificates in these areas. We are looking for a candidate who enjoys providing students with a professional perspective built on work experience in the field and appreciates the diversity of the community college population. The ideal candidate is a collaborative colleague who enjoys sharing their enthusiasm, expertise, and experience in a student-centered learning environment.Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated expertise in healthcare and the ability to effectively convey a comprehensive understanding of diverse healthcare settings and practices. Candidates must be able to communicate complex concepts clearly and engage a variety of learners.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree 5 years of professional experience in medical coding and/or revenue cycle operations within healthcare environments Prior experience teaching in an online format Strong working knowledge of HIPAA and FERPA privacy regulations Must hold a current certification fromAHIMA Preferred Qualifications:
