SUNY Broome Community College is a comprehensive community college located in the scenic Southern Tier of New York. The College has over 7,700 students annually, and services over 6,100 students per semester in Liberal Arts, Business & Professional Studies, Health Sciences, and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) programs. An additional 1,600 students are served through the College's workforce and non-credit programs.
Job Description:
SUNY Broome Community College is seeking qualified applicants for part-time faculty (adjunct) teaching in our Business Programs Department. Applications for Adjunct Instructor positions are accepted on a continuous basis. Candidates are contacted and hired as opportunities arise, depending on the college's needs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Creating Syllabus. Teaching under the guidance of the department chairperson. Helping students master course content. Assessing student learning outcomes. Utilizing current learning management system technology (Brightspace) in the performance of job duties. Maintaining standards of professional conduct and ethics. Fulfilling other duties as outlined in the Faculty contract.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or in a related field is preferred. Applicants should be comfortable in the learner-centered classroom and have a strong commitment to the community college mission.
