A Business Professor teaches foundational business ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the business curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field.
School of Business Position Summary SUNY Geneseo seeks applicants for anticipated part-time temporary adjunct faculty openings. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and applicants will be contacted as needed. Teach undergraduate courses in Finance. Possible teaching assignments include courses on managerial finance (principles), investments, portfolio management or personal finance. Applicant cover letter should address prior undergraduate teaching experience, including listing all courses in the area of finance that the applicant has previously taught.
Required Qualifications Required Qualifications:
A Master's degree and teaching or other experience in the Finance field OR a Bachelor's degree, professional experience, and status as a Chartered Financial Analyst. Must demonstrate a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive teaching environment.
