Job Description:
Immaculata University invites applications for adjunct finance faculty for our Fall 2026 semester from August 31st to December 12th. The immediate needs in finance courses include: FIN 362 Introduction to Finance (Mondays & Wednesdays; 9:30
  • 10:45 AM) FIN 362 Introduction to Finance (Mondays & Wednesdays; 11:00
  • 12:15 PM) FIN 306 Money and Banking (Mondays & Wednesdays; 12:30
  • 1:45 PM) Candidates interested in working with a team to implement innovative educational strategies to a diverse student population are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Teach in-person on the assigned day and time. Provide quality and timely feedback to students Assist in all retention efforts for business students; Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards Increase awareness among students of the various resources available on campus to ensure academic and personal success and to direct them appropriately; Demonstrate a commitment to all forms of diversity; Be an advocate of and support the University's mission, vision, values and goals; Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chair and Dean. Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Three (3) or more years of professional experience in finance, banking, wealth management, financial planning, insurance, risk management, investments, or a related field. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
Preferred Requirements:
One or more relevant professional designations such as CFP, CFA, ChFC, CPA/PFS, CIMA, RICP, CLU, or equivalent. Prior college-level teaching experience, preferably in face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online formats. Experience in financial planning, wealth management, investment management, banking, insurance, estate planning, or related fields. Experience teaching in a CFP Board Registered Program or familiarity with CFP certification requirements. Doctoral degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
