Summary Baylor College of Medicine-CHRISTUS Children's in San Antonio is seeking a highly motivated and competent professional to serve as a Supervisor of Business Operations with primary responsibilities for managing day-to-day business operations for pediatric and women's services specialties at

Children's in San Antonio, TX under the direction of the Senior Manager. The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, be a great team player, have strong and proven organizational skills, experience in managing high-level business relationships. Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive, who is organized, detail oriented, and able to multitask. In addition, they will demonstrate excellent networking, relationship, and conversational skills. The Supervisor ensures that department goals and objectives are achieved along with possessing an understanding of basic management approaches such as coaching, process execution and a broad knowledge of financial, human resources, and administration. Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and contributing to the overall efficiency of our organization. Job Duties Operational Leadership Develops and prepares reports for the Senior Manager and Executive Director. Ensures the ongoing review and development of process improvements to maximize operating and business productivity. Manages daily operations of several divisions for multiple mission areas. Manages faculty recruitment and onboarding processes, including submission of positions in SuccessFactors. Manages compiling and submission of faculty appointments and may assist with faculty promotions. Assists the Senior Manager in management of sponsored guest account setup. People Management Supervises seven non-exempt/hourly staff, including defining work responsibilities and prioritization, setting performance and development plans, and conducting performance evaluations. Assists and establishes goals for administrative support employees. Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to division staff. Other duties Manages administrative space allocations and other facilities requirements or problems to ensure that work remains a top priority. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Four years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree (in related field of business administration, finance or healthcare administration). Experience with Concur, SuccessFactors, QGenda (Physician Scheduling System) and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook and Word. 2-4 years of supervisory experience. Experience in an academic medicine, healthcare and/or hospital setting. Experience with creating presentations and writing letters or memos. Strong operational skills and ability to gain the confidence of faculty, staff, leaders, colleagues, etc. Ability to display a professional and executive, positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills and communication skills required and must be able to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines. Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, efficient, critical thinker, and strong organizational skills. Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility in accepting work assignments with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks, understand processes, and resolve issues.Work Authorization Requirement:
