Primary responsibilities include teaching courses in business administration and management, as well as completing responsibilities associate with part-time instruction. Faculty are expected to accept courses as assigned which could include face-to-face and non-traditional venues, such as evening, weekend, dual credit, blended, and/or online courses. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining office hours, working across departments, and promoting and supporting the department's mission and goals. This position reports to the Division Chair of Business Programs. Employee may not exceed 19.5 hours per week.
NOTE:
This is a security sensitive position and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Restricted-Sustained posture, for prolonged periods; light lifting, some walking, pushing, pulling on a regular basis. Minimal Hazard/Exposure-Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort.
BENEFITS
Part-Time Retirement. Participation in Medicare Part A, but not Social Security (FICA).
