As a teaching-focused university, Taejae appoints all faculty members to non-tenure-track positions. These positions are offered as renewable three-year appointments at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, commensurate with the successful candidate's qualifications and experience. We seek passionate educators who are excited to reimagine undergraduate education and help shape the future of a bold, innovative institution. Based in Seoul, Republic of Korea, Taejae University prepares students from around the world to become globally minded leaders and changemakers. Grounded in active learning, our distinctive educational model combines small, interactive seminars with immersive academic and co-curricular experiences across Taejae's global residential programs. All courses are taught in English in a highly interactive online format, giving faculty members the flexibility to teach from anywhere in the world while engaging closely with a diverse, international community of students. New faculty members will teach four-credit courses in the Business Innovation Program online starting in Spring 2027, and they will also have the opportunity to advise senior capstone projects based on their expertise and teaching interests. The standard teaching load will be three courses per semester (3-3), and other responsibilities may include mentoring students, contributing to curriculum design, participating in faculty workshops, and serving on academic/administrative committees. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Ph. D. in business or other relevant fields, or advancement to candidacy by the time of application Preferred Qualifications Successful instructional experience at the undergraduate level Strong commitment to active learning pedagogies and a willingness to explore new teaching methods/technologies Demonstrated success in supervising students in research projects and other experiential learning settings Proven experience in curricular design/planning, including the development of innovative and engaging course materials, assignments, and assessments Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students and faculty from diverse cultural backgrounds Areas of Specialization Applicants should demonstrate strong teaching ability and scholarly or professional expertise in one or more of the following areas: Strategy, organizational behavior, innovation management, or entrepreneurship Finance, accounting, venture finance, valuation, or financial decision-making Marketing, consumer insight, brand management, or digital marketing Technology and business innovation, including AI-enabled strategy, digital transformation, or technopreneurship Preference may be given to candidates whose expertise complements the Program's curriculum and who can teach across multiple areas.
