Covenant College Job Posting Adjunct Faculty Position:

Chemistry The Department of Chemistry at Covenant College invites applications for an adjunct professor to serve as a one-year sabbatical replacement to teach organic chemistry (fall semester), biochemistry (fall semester), general chemistry (spring semester), and a general interest core science course (spring semester) over the 2027-2028 school year. While preference will be given to applicants who are interested in teaching the whole year, applicants who are only available for one semester will be considered. Covenant College is an academically rigorous Christian college emphasizing the liberal arts in the Reformed and Presbyterian tradition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate courses in chemistry in the context of a Christian perspective Direct and supervise laboratory experiments in chemistry

Qualifications:

An appreciation and understanding of the mission of Covenant College Minimum degree of master's in chemistry from an accredited institution Expertise in the subject area Teaching experience preferred Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
