College of Arts & Sciences Position overview: The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Boise State University invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position. The successful candidate will contribute to the department's teaching mission with primary teaching responsibilities in freshman and sophomore courses with the possibility of upper-division courses within their area of disciplinary expertise. Course assignments will include general chemistry and may also include discipline-specific courses that align with departmental needs and the candidate's background. Summer teaching opportunities may be available for additional compensation. Lecturers teach four courses per semester and are integral members of the department's instructional team. Minimum qualifications:
Master's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemistry education, science education, or a closely related field. Salary ranges from $56,000 to $61,000 and is commensurate with experience Our standard faculty contract is a 9-month contract (unless otherwise noted) with pay and benefits spread over 12 months. This is a yearly, renewable contract, unless noted that the position is temporary.
