Job description: The Gregory H. Olsen College of Engineering and Science at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Metro Campus, seeks an adjunct professor to teach laboratory courses in the fields of general chemistry and/or the health sciences. The laboratory instructor will be expected to guide students through the performance of weekly pre-designed in-person laboratory experiments in the respective discipline as well as evaluate student notebooks and laboratory reports. The position will also involve the maintenance and supervision of a safe laboratory environment by ensuring chemicals and glassware are handled correctly, PPE is worn, and waste is cleaned up and stored properly.
Required Qualifications:
Required qualifications: Applicants are required to hold a Master's degree or above in chemistry or closely related field. Teaching experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with industrial experience are also welcome to apply. Interested applicants should submit a cover letter and curriculum vitae/resume.
