College of Arts & Sciences:
The college offers a number of master's programs, and eight departments offer doctoral degrees, including the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Arts & Sciences faculty are at the heart of Ohio University's research activity. The college is central to Ohio University's transformative learning experience. The foundational instruction for the entire university, delivered through the general education and liberal arts curriculum, is provided by the College of Arts and Sciences. Minimum Qualifications The successful candidate is expected to have a Ph.D. in Chemistry or closely related field by the start date of appointment. Preferred Qualifications Preferred candidates will have a Ph.D. in Chemistry or closely related field and experience with teaching courses in general chemistry, and/or experience in managing undergraduate chemistry laboratories.
