Job Description
Job Summary The swim instructor (part time) is responsible for delivering high-quality swim instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels. As a benefitted W-2 employee, the instructor will follow established lesson plans, attend required training sessions, and work collaboratively with the pool manager and assistant pool manager to ensure a safe, welcoming, and professional aquatic environment. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to safety and customer service. Requirements (plus prior experience teaching swim lessons preferred): Current certifications in American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI), CPR, and First Aid (or ability to obtain within 30 days) Swim Schools International Instructor Certification, Starfish Swimming Instructor, or other recognized teaching credentials Infant/Toddler-specific certification if teaching infant/baby swim lessons Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Apply at : https://bhamjcc.org/about-us/employment
