. Overview Are you passionate about working with children and making a positive impact after school? We're looking for an energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic Coach to lead fun, engaging enrichment classes for elementary school students (Pre-K through 5th Grade). Our program focuses on building confidence, coordination, agility, teamwork, and a love of physical activity in a safe and encouraging environment. This paid position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a difference while having fun. Duties Lead engaging after-school classes for elementary-aged students (Pre-K through 5th Grade). Teach age-appropriate activities that promote coordination, strength, balance, agility, teamwork, and confidence. Create a positive, encouraging atmosphere where every child feels successful and included. Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants by following established safety procedures and maintaining appropriate supervision. Manage student behavior using positive reinforcement and effective classroom management techniques. Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and program leadership as needed. Set up and put away equipment before and after each class. Assist with demonstrations, showcases, camps, and other special events throughout the year. Work collaboratively with fellow coaches and management to provide a high-quality experience for every student. Qualifications Experience working with children in coaching, teaching, childcare, camps, gymnastics, sports, or other youth programs is preferred. Former gymnasts, athletes, or individuals with a background in youth sports are encouraged to apply. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage young children. Positive attitude, reliability, and enthusiasm. Ability to manage groups of elementary-aged children in a fun, structured environment. Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
