Adult Outpatient Programs provide the least restrictive level of care where adults may receive clinical interventions aimed at decreasing existing signs and symptoms. Outpatient treatment focuses on recovery, problem resolution, symptom reduction, stabilization and/or prevention of movement to a higher level of care. Treatment varies widely and depends upon the consumer's presenting symptoms.

Responsibilities:

Primary Job Functions:

Daily responsibilities: Assess consumers for areas in which they are experiencing deficits as determined by the DLA-20 Instruct patients on how to improve their abilities in the deficit areas. Demonstrate and assist consumer in performing their tasks to evaluate comprehension. Educate patient on how to continue to implement the skills they have acquired. Maintain established institutional policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, and safety, environmental and infection control standards. Demonstrate the ability to recognize the elements of a crisis and knows how to deescalate or resolve the situation. Collaborates with supervisor to ensure all steps needed to engage patients have been met and patient is set up for success. Collaborates with treatment team members and regularly provides feedback on the patient's status. Supervision and Consultation Seeks clinical supervision and consultation as needed. Accepts and employs suggestions for improvement. Clinical Record Keeping Documents in a timely fashion per AltaPointe policy, within 24 hours of contact with patients. Job:

There is constant standing Sitting is frequent by nature and up to 5-10 minutes; however, extended sitting could be up to 1.5 to 3 hours for documentation. Walking for extended periods of time. Squatting and/or lunging frequently Fine manipulation for writing and handling paperwork Pushing and/or pulling force up to 1-5 pounds force, horizontally, to open file cabinets and place binders on bookshelves. Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be at least age 23, maintain a valid verifiable driver license and maintain a clear driving record.
