JOB DESCRIPTION
SOFTBALLHEAD COACH PART TIME
Qualifications:
Current Alabama Teacher's Certification (preferred) or classified dependent upon qualifications of the person holding the position Previous Experience in sports as a participant and/or coach (preferred) but not required Completion of all requirements set forth by the AHSAA Coaches' Education Program Must have or be willing to obtain CDL Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of softball and a willingness to examine new theories and proceduresEssential Duties:
To instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategies, and physical conditioning necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success To work with the athletic director in accomplishing the mission and goals of the athletic department Instruct athletes in fundamentals, develop character, model expected behavior Ability to work with players, parents, administration and other coaches To adhere to the MPS Athletics Code of Ethics and Conduct for Sports Coaches Attend the AHSAA sponsored rules clinic for his/her sportHOW TO APPLY
