DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain student safety as the number one priority, on and off the field Teach sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic and responsibility to one's team Schedule, supervise and conduct all practices Maintain supervision of athletes at all times, including on the bus Work collaboratively with the district Athletic Director Teach sports techniques, playing rules, strategies and playing tactics Condition athletes appropriately for activities Monitor athletes' school attendance, grades and personal conduct Respond to player injuries immediately, notifying the Athletic Director and/or school administrator Manage uniforms, equipment and facilities in a responsible manner Substitute for absent coaches or referees as needed Other duties as assigned by the school principal or designee Reports to building principal and district Athletic Director
