At A3 Sports Performance, you'll have the opportunity to coach an incredibly diverse range of people - from competitive youth and high school athletes to individuals with developmental disabilities working toward greater strength, independence, and quality of life. We're looking for a full-time Performance Coach who loves coaching, wants to make a meaningful impact on the people they serve, and is excited to keep growing their craft alongside a team that takes coaching seriously. You'll coach across two tracks under one roof: Sports Performance - Small-group strength, speed, and athletic performance training for youth and high school athletes, plus a smaller group of driven adults Adaptive Fitness & Performance - 1-on-1, buddy, and semi-private training for individuals with developmental disabilities (ages ~10-75+) focused on strength, independence, and quality of life In one day, you might help a 40-year-old with cerebral palsy walk farther than ever, and later coach middle school athletes chasing varsity and college goals. We don't just run workouts. We develop people through exceptional coaching. Who This Could Be a Great Fit For College or private-sector strength & conditioning coaches who love coaching but want greater stability, more sustainable hours, and less travel Personal trainers who want to coach as part of a professional team instead of building and managing a business alone PT aides, PTAs, kinesiology/exercise science professionals, or aspiring physical therapists who love movement and want more hands-on coaching experience Sports performance coaches who want to develop youth and high school athletes in a structured, high-standard environment Coaches looking for a long-term home where they can continue developing professionally and grow into greater responsibility, specialization, and compensation Key Function of the Role The Performance Coach exists to ensure that every athlete and client at A3 experiences professional, intentional coaching that drives measurable development. What You'll Do Deliver A3 programming with an understanding of the intent behind the training Actively coach sessions rather than simply supervising workouts Provide effective cues, feedback, regressions, and progressions based on individual needs Manage group flow, safety, spacing, and athlete engagement Build positive relationships while reinforcing effort, confidence, and development Communicate professionally with athletes, clients, parents, and teammates Complete session notes, testing data, and required documentation accurately and on time Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing coach education Collaborate with fellow coaches to deliver a consistent, high-quality experience across programs What Success Looks Like A successful A3
Performance Coach:
Leads safe, structured, high-energy sessions with strong group management and active coaching throughout Helps athletes and clients make measurable progress in strength, speed, movement quality, confidence, independence, and overall performance Comes prepared, starts on time, and consistently delivers a high-quality coaching experience Builds strong relationships and communicates professionally with athletes, clients, parents, and teammates Contributes to a collaborative coaching culture and continues developing their own craft

$45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
