Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated HS Girls Soccer Coach to lead and inspire student-athletes from August through February. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and athletic development among high school girls passionate about soccer. The coach will be responsible for planning practices, guiding game strategies, and promoting a positive, inclusive environment that encourages growth both on and off the field. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging practice plans that improve players' skills, teamwork, and understanding of soccer tactics Lead team practices and oversee game-day preparations, ensuring a high-energy, motivational atmosphere Teach sports-specific techniques while emphasizing safety protocols and proper use of equipment Foster a positive environment by promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and respectful communication among players Manage behavior on and off the field through effective behavior management strategies Communicate regularly with players, parents, and school staff regarding team progress and upcoming events Ensure all activities comply with safety standards, including AED operation readiness and emergency procedures Skills Proven coaching experience in soccer or other team sports at the high school level Strong communication skills to effectively motivate students and collaborate with colleagues Knowledge of sports-specific training instruction to enhance athletic performance Experience working with students in physical education or sports settings Ability to manage behavior positively and maintain discipline during practices and games Familiarity with health club or gym environments is a plus Certifications in CPR/AED operation are preferred; Lifeguard experience or martial arts training such as Karate, Judo, or Swimming is advantageous Background in childcare or teaching physical education enhances your ability to connect with student-athletes Join us to make a meaningful impact on young athletes' lives by fostering their love for soccer while building essential life skills!
Pay:
$25.00 - $65.00 per hour
