In this role, you will inspire young athletes, develop their skills, and foster a positive team environment that emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth. Your leadership will help shape the next generation of players while promoting health, fitness, and confidence through the sport of soccer. Responsibilities Design and implement engaging training sessions that improve technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical fitness of players Lead team practices, ensuring activities are safe, inclusive, and aligned with developmental goals Organize and oversee competitive matches, tournaments, and team events to promote sportsmanship and teamwork Monitor player progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to athletes and parents Foster a positive team culture by encouraging respect, discipline, and resilience among players Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other coaches to support student-athletes' overall well-being Maintain equipment inventory, ensure safety protocols are followed, and uphold facility standards Qualifications Proven experience in sports coaching with a focus on soccer or similar team sports Strong background in teaching physical education or working with children and youth in athletic settings Knowledge of soccer techniques, tactics, and game rules; prior experience coaching at school or community levels is preferred Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively and promote positive conduct among young athletes Additional skills in Lifeguard experience, swimming, martial arts (such as Karate or Judo), cheerleading, climbing, or other physical activities are advantageous Experience in childcare or working with students from diverse backgrounds is highly valued Certifications in sports coaching or relevant health and safety training are a plus Join us as we empower young athletes through sport!
