Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Boxing Coach to inspire and guide individuals of all ages and skill levels in the art of boxing. As a key member of our sports and fitness team, you will develop personalized training programs, foster a motivating environment, and promote safe, effective boxing techniques. Your passion for sports coaching and commitment to client success will help participants achieve their fitness goals while building confidence and resilience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact through dynamic coaching sessions and sports education. Duties Design and deliver engaging boxing training sessions tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced athletes Teach proper boxing techniques, footwork, defensive skills, and conditioning exercises Monitor participants' progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust training plans accordingly Ensure all safety protocols are followed during training, including proper use of equipment and adherence to injury prevention measures Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and personal growth Maintain equipment inventory, cleanliness of training areas, and ensure all gear is in safe working condition Communicate effectively with clients about their goals, progress, and any concerns or questions they may have Skills Prior experience in boxing coaching or martial arts instruction with a strong understanding of boxing fundamentals Sales experience is a must Demonstrated ability to work with diverse age groups and skill levels, including children and adults Excellent communication skills to motivate participants and clearly explain techniques Knowledge of sports-specific training methods and physical education teaching principles Experience working with children or youth in sports or recreational settings Ability to manage behavior effectively while maintaining a fun and disciplined environment Certifications such as First Aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation (Automated External Defibrillator), or similar health safety credentials are highly desirable Background in team leadership or coaching in sports like soccer, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, or other team-based activities is a plus Join us as a Boxing Coach to empower individuals through sport!
